THE ALCAZAR OF THE CHRISTIAN KINGDOMS

Let's start our visit to Cordoba with the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. The gardens suddenly appear as a small protected paradise in the middle of the city. It is surprising to see how in such an arid region such vegetation comes to life.

THE PATIOS OF CORDOBA

During the first two weeks of May, residents participate in "Los Patios de Córdoba". They open their patios in order to let the general public discover these flowered courtyards. In all, about 50 patios will be opened, from the Alcazar Viejo neighborhood to the San Lorenzo neighborhood.

THE MEZQUITA CATEDRAL

Monument and symbol of the city, the "Mosque-Cathedral" is a special building. Indeed it is a mosque in which a cathedral was then built after the famous Reconquista. The Mezquita Catedral is a haven of peace between the city and the river.
